The greenest side of Bilbao in its gardens and parks

Bilbao has numerous parks and gardens, ideal places to stroll, rest and enjoy nature right in the heart of the city. Among these, Doña Casilda Park is one of Bilbao’s most iconic and elegant spaces, with its extensive landscaped areas, ponds and walking paths lined with centuries-old trees.

Another of the city’s major green spaces is Etxebarria Park, situated on an old industrial site now transformed into a spacious natural viewpoint offering superb views over the Old Town and the estuary. Its open spaces and iconic chimney are a reminder of the city’s industrial past. These spaces, along with other gardens and urban promenades, showcase the quieter, greener side of Bilbao.
