Lap of the Green Ring

Vitoria-Gasteiz is a city best discovered on two wheels. Vitoria-Gasteiz’s extensive network of cycle lanes and the paths of the Green Ring allow you to cycle at a leisurely pace, with almost no slopes, travelling from the city centre into nature in just a few minutes.

The experience is much more than just a ride: you will leave the city centre behind and venture into wetlands, woodlands and meadows, witnessing the gradual transformation of the landscape with every pedal stroke. In Salburua Park, for example, the walk becomes a real nature-watching experience, with opportunities to spot deer and birds such as storks and grey herons, particularly at dawn or dusk.

The Vitoria-Gasteiz Green Ring links green areas such as Armentia Park, Olarizu Park, Zabalgana Park, Las Neveras Park and the area around the River Zadorra, offering routes to suit every pace, from leisurely family walks to more challenging hikes.
